St. Patrick's Day Wreath Tutorial

We love felt wreaths, so we decided to post this tutorial.  Even though we are doing a St. Patrick's Day wreath here, you can choose any color and any accents you choose to make a wreath for different seasons.

To make this wreath you will need:
  • Piping Insulation (We found some at Lowe's for $0.97)
  • Tape
  • Sewing Pins
  • Green Felt (around 3/4 yard)
  • Styrofoam Shamrocks Stickers (We found some at Hobby Lobby for $2.99)
  • Ribbon
First, cut the piping insulation in half, and tape the ends together in a circle.
Second, cut the green felt into 2 inch circles.  Once all the circles are cut fold them in half once, and then fold again.

Insert a sewing pin through the bottom of the folded felt and insert it into the wreath.

Continue inserting pins and felt into the wreath until the sides and front of the wreath are completely covered.
Then, add shamrock stickers to the wreath.

Finally, pin a piece of ribbon on the back of the wreath and hang on a hook.
